15-Year-Old Catches 30kg Lake Pelagicevo Carp!

Kristof Cuderman shares Lukas Dimic’s story who earlier this year, ended up doubling his personal best carp record by banking one of the largest, most sought-after carp in Bosnia’s Lake Pelagicevo… 

 

Kristof says…

I just wanted to take a minute to highlight a fellow carp angler from Slovenia called Lukas Dimic. He’s only 15-years-old and is already crazy about carp fishing – I really think he has big potential to be really top angler in the future!

Basically, he had an amazing fishing trip at Lake Pelagicevo in Bosnia earlier this Summer that I’m sure really experienced carp anglers will be envious about…

At the end of June he went for the first time fishing out of Slovenia to Pelagicevo in Bosnia. He went there with a big goal to catch his first ever carp over the 20kg barrier. His personal best was 15 kg before the trip, which is still really good for his age!

His one week session on peg number 5 went far better that he could ever have dreamed of and he caught some very nice fish over his 20kg goal…

 

However, during the third day of the session he caught one of the biggest carp from the lake which pulled the needle on his scales round to 30kg! Marko, who is the fishing ranger there, helped him with photos and taking care of the fish.

Absolutely crazy – what a moment and what a session for such a young angler who I’m sure we will see more big fish from in the future.

He used Dynamite Squid & Octopus boilies 15mm and 20mm. For feeding he used also mix of Dynamite pellets.
