4 CommentsHow to Pump Swim Stim Pro-Expander Pellets
Expander pellets are a fantastic all-year-round bait but they’re particularly effective during the colder months when species such as carp and F1s prefer a softer, more digestible pellet over the usual hard varieties. Our range of Swim Stim Pro-Expander Pellets come in 4mm and 6mm sizes in four classic flavours – Betaine Green, Red Krill, F1 Sweet and Amino Original – and it’s the latter that you can flavour to make your own unique hookbait. Below, we’re going to show you how you can make perfect Pro-Expander Pellets in 7 easy steps…
STEP ONE
Add your desired amount of Amino Original Pro-Expander Pellets to the pellet pump
STEP TWO
Take your favourite liquid flavouring (we’ve used F1 Sweet Pellet Soak for this demonstration) and pour it into the bottle cap.
STEP THREE
Add 2x capfuls of the liquid into the pellet pump with the pellets
STEP FOUR
Top up the remaining space in the pump with water. Lake or tap water is fine
STEP FIVE
Secure the pump nozzle to the bottle and pump the pellets slowly until they all sink to the bottom. Don’t over pump as you will not be able to remove the nozzle!
STEP SIX
Pour out the excess water into a separate tub. Do not throw this away though as this liquid can be used to flavour micro pellets or groundbaits during your session. Make sure you leave a small amount of liquid in with the Pro-Expanders.
STEP SEVEN
Pour your pellets into a tub and make sure they’re sat in a layer of liquid for at least 30 minutes. This will allow them to swell and soak in that flavouring
There you have it – perfect Pro-Expander Pellets!
