WIN A 48 Hour Session with Ian Russell

*COMPETITION CLOSED* Note due to the Coronavirus pandemic, a winner will not be picked until after the lockdown has ended.

Furzebray Lakes, in partnership with Carp Spirit are offering one lucky angler the chance to win a 48 session with hotshot carper Ian Russell on one of the nation’s top specimen carp waters.

The winning angler will not only receive free tuition from Ian but also have access to the Devon venue’s flagship specimen carp water – Island Lake where fish to just under 50lb, including several big forties reside. Not only that, the winner will also be given a weekend’s supply of bait to help them land their dream fish.

Island Carp Lake

Run by Carp Spirit/Dynamite rod, Tony Kingdon, this carp lake was built in 2006 and was stocked in 2007, it contains 100 fish ranging up to and over 46lb with some 30  fish over 30lb & 60 + over 20lb. The lake varies in depth between 1.5ft and 12ft with an average of 3.5ft to 4.5ft. There are  reeds all around the lake providing plenty of features to fish to.

Each Carp Fishing Swim on the lake offers the angler some thing different to fish to… The Specimen Carp Day Ticket Carp lake was built with only one thing in mind, to offer the Carp Angler a high quality carp fishing venue with some of the most beautiful carp in the southwest of England to fish for. The Island lake has eight swims all offering the budding Carp Angler features and hot spots to temp these stunning carp from..

Simply COMMENT on this article below by telling us the brand name of Ian Russell’s favourite bait from our range. Also make sure you’ve LIKED the Carp Spirit Facebook Page. and subscribed to the Carp Spirit YouTube channel.  One winner will be picked at random and be offered the chance to book their trip (dates and times will be subject to availability and arranged with the fishery upon the winner receiving his or her prize). The winner will be announced on the Carp Spirit and Dynamite Facebook pages and on here after the closing date. Good luck.

    Well i believe its the tigernut. What an amazing prize this would be to win. Ian’s a top bloke really passionate about his angling and it shows in all his videos. I’ve followed Ian throught his carreer and i think hes landed onto something good with dynamite baits.
