Furzebray Lakes, in partnership with Carp Spirit are offering one lucky angler the chance to win a 48 hour ticket for two on one of their top specimen carp waters.
The winning pair will have access to the Devon venue’s flagship specimen carp water – Island Lake where fish to just under 50lb, including several big forties reside.

Island Carp Lake
This carp lake was built in 2006 and was stocked in 2007, it contains 100 fish ranging up to and over 46lb with some 30 fish over 30lb & 60 + over 20lb. The lake varies in depth between 1.5ft and 12ft with an average of 3.5ft to 4.5ft. There are reeds all around the lake providing plenty of features to fish to.
Each Carp Fishing Swim on the lake offers the angler some thing different to fish to… The Specimen Carp Day Ticket Carp lake was built with only one thing in mind, to offer the Carp Angler a high quality carp fishing venue with some of the most beautiful carp in the southwest of England to fish for. The Island lake has eight swims all offering the budding Carp Angler features and hot spots to temp these stunning carp from..
Earlier this summer, venue boss and Carp Spirit rod, Tony Kingdon banked the stunning ‘Black Spot’ at 45lb 10z using CompleX-T.

Would love to win this even though I’m fishing willow in 2 weeks
I will be moving to within an hours drive in September and all ready listed this fishery as my number one venue, and what a result to turn up fish like these in such a short time!? (2006) means very good management.

The lake was constructed in 2006, by Tony, design for Anglers by a Angler. Lovely swims well maintained the island Lake is supported by Willow Lake which will soon have the fish the Island lake has, also there is The Copse which has it’s own designed swims and a very good water.
