Hometown: Farnborough, Hants
Favourite type of fishing: Small intimate waters
Favourite fishing spot: Anywhere quiet with the chance of a bite.
Like so many others I started fishing at the age of 6 with my dad, fishing for whatever came along. 20 years ago the carp bug hit me and they have been my predominant target since then, although I do enjoy a bit of river and predator fishing every now and then. Living near Yateley has me spoilt for choice as far as venues are concerned and over the years I have pretty much fished them all with a degree of success and still continue to do so.
Being a family man and working full time takes up most of my time so I usually fish overnighters, making preparation a key part of my angling as I do not want to be wasting time tying rigs and baiting up when I’m actually fishing.

Hi Micky.
Martin here. Paul Ravenhill’s brother, we used to play golf together. How the hell are you. ??
Probably never spoke about fishing while playing golf. Be good to catch up. I’m carp fishing at every opportunity, member at Farnham and trips abroad. Email me and we can have a good old chat.
