The 17th Open de Chalon’s was launched this weekend with 113 teams competing over a 60km stretch of river between Charnay les Chalon in the North and Ormes in the South! The competitors from all over France and Belgium will be faced with a vast and varied terrain in this friendly but highly competitive event.
In the draw each team had a choice between three positions and they are able to change twice during the week! The event is wonderfully run by the club Carp’alliance with everything organised to perfection under the experienced eye of its president Bernard Blondel.
This year there are 3 teams representing Carpspirit / Dynamite Baits / Shimano
Yannick Villemain and Bruno Lioret at peg 131
Cyrille Martin and Lionel Talmard at peg 120
Gilles Pege and Nicolas Navarro at peg 92
Below you can find a map of all 134 pegs, which span from Charnay-les-Chalon to Ormes and also a list of the locations of all the competitors following Saturdays draw.
