0 CommentsA family of three from Stafford enjoyed a French carp fishing trip to remember when they netted an incredible 82 fish.
Daren, his son Michael and dad, Stephen, visited Abbey Lakes in France’s Les Etang region for a week long trip and had the session of their dreams netting fish after fish to over 30lb.
The epic session saw the trio fishing on the complex’s Frog Lake where they baited their spots with a mix of CompleX-T, Red Amo and Monster Tiger Nut boilies , with matching pellets all soaked in Sweet Tiger Liquid. Fishing Monster Tiger or Source Fluro pop-ups on Ronnie or ‘D’ rigs, they banked fish to 33lb with Daren competing with Michael for the top rod with both ending on 36 fish each.

Daren said: „It was an absolutely incredible session. You go to France with the expectation to catch fish but we never thought we would do so well, we had over 100 takes between the three of us”
