Target fish you would most like to catch: Any carp older than myself

Top carp fishing tip: Be obsessed that the hookpoint is ultra sharp, it often is the fine margin between blanking and catching.

Aim in angling: To catch a bigger one, but more importantly to be happy.

Highlight of angling career: Writing for the magazines.

Other types of fishing: Not for many years, I am a Carp addict completely. I love the individuality and character of their appearance and working out the behaviour patterns and routines of certain Carp when trying to catch them…and not forgetting their frightening power on the fight.
