Digital Marketing Coordinator

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Digital Marketing Coordinator to support the marketing activities of the Rapala VMC Group of brands, with a particular focus on Dynamite Baits, Okuma, and Carp Spirit.
The key areas of the role include managing our social media channels, overseeing our brand website and E-commerce, working with and managing the sponsored anglers’ team on a day-to-day basis and compiling marketing analysis.
This is a hybrid role, with work split between our UK Head Office in Cotgrave, Nottingham, various content creation locations, and the potential for remote (home) working. As part of the marketing team, you will work closely with and report directly to the Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Social Media –
• Coordinate Carp & Specimen angling social media for Dynamite, Okuma & Carp Spirit brands
• Manage and grow our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube etc), ensuring content aligns with brand tone and objectives
• Social media post content sourcing, creation, scheduling, commenting, monitoring & moderation
• Up to 3 days/week working ‘in-the-field’ creating content with our sponsored anglers’
• Working alongside a videographer to create medium & long format YouTube videos
• Liaising with other group marketing teams to supply content
• Create and maintain marketing assets on our internal file storage systems
• Budget management for paid social media
• Analyse digital marketing performance and compile regular reports on reach, engagement, traffic, and conversions
• Monitor trends in the angling and digital marketing space to inform strategy and content planning
Website & E-commerce –
• Maintain the Dynamite website, maximise SEO, proactively drive content, whilst making sure its current, relevant & accurate
• Manage and maintain our E-commerce sites
Sponsored Anglers’ Coordination –
• Coordinate the sponsored anglers’ team activity and content creation
• Be the first point of contact for the sponsored anglers’
• Oversee all communication between the company and the sponsored anglers’
• Coordinate the sponsored anglers’ ordering & accounts
Knowledge, Skills & Attitude Required:
• A strong understanding of all forms of social media, with commercial application experience
• Adept at creating high impact commercial social media posts
• A high level of ability in writing & proofreading creative copy
• At least two years digital marketing experience, preferably within the angling industry
• Proficient level of photographic & editing skills
• Strong understanding of angling techniques and disciplines, particularly Carp and Specimen
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Proactive, highly motivated, flexible and a team player
• Highly organised and with an attention to detail
• Experience of website management, including programming languages and HTML/CMS. Relevant qualifications would be advantageous, but not essential
• In-depth knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Key Information:
• Expected start date: ASAP
• Salary: On application – dependent on experience
• Working hours: 42 hours/week. However, flexibility is key to ensure the needs of the business are met.
