0 CommentsA switch to CompleX-T boilies helped an angler enjoy one of his best carp fishing seasons ever when he landed several big fish including a ‘sought after’ 38lb 6oz specimen.
Steven Eydmann, switched to Terry Hearn’s newest recipe after a run of blanks and hasn’t looked back, recording more than 20 notable captures in less than six months along with dozens of back-up fish.
Steve’s best moment came when he banked the 38lb monster, a fish called ‘Cut Tail’ from a tough Southern club water. The sought after fish was caught using a PVA bag of glugged CompleX-T baits fished with a CompleX-T Fluro pop-up and followed a 31lb specimen he caught on the same tactics after seeing fish fizzing at range.
Fishing on several day-ticket venues such as Thorpe Lea as well as stillwaters such as Chichester Lake in Horsham, Steve also netted fish of 31lb, 29lb and a 26lb ghostie all on his new favourite bait.
He said: « I lost faith in my old bait after a run of blanks so decided to try out the CompleX-T and it just changed my season. Suddenly I was catching some of the venues hardest fish to catch including the ghostie which is from a lake which is very low stalked and difficult to get results on. »
