Carp fishing stars Rob Hughes, Kristof Cuderman and Mark Bartlett recently visited Croatia’s Sumbar Lake and enjoyed an epic few days…<\/h3>\n

The team used a heavy baiting approach and emptied the lake, bagging an incredible 63 fish between them, with specimens to over 50lb a plenty.<\/p>\n

The team used a mixture of Monster Tiger Red Amo<\/a>, CompleX-T and The Source<\/a> boilies, feeding heavily with 15, 18 and 20mm baits.<\/p>\n

The fish obliged by feeding heavily in return and providing some amazing sport for the trio: \u201cMost of the captures were at night but every now and again the buzzer would scream in the afternoon and it would be another big fish\u201d said Hughesy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe action would usually start at around 9pm and ran through until 5am so it was a very tiring trip. It was hard to rest in the day as it was so hot, but it was an amazing session and we all kept going to capitalise on the amount of fish we could catch. I came to catch just one 50lb fish but little did I know we\u2019d catch so many. It was pretty full on and they couldn\u2019t get enough food.»<\/p>\n
