The thing with air dried baits is they tend to be less attractive, sucking moisture instead of pumping out food signals, and so on the river I often like to use salt in the drying process. As well as having the desired effect of hardening your hook-baits, salt is also very attractive to carp. Although I sometimes use a small amount of salt on my freebies, this process is more for hookbaits only, as you wouldn&#8217;t want to feed them too much of the stuff&#8230;just like us really.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">Step 1<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Take some boilies out of the freezer (available to buy from all <a href=\"https:\/\/dynamitebaits.com\/stores\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dynamite stockists<\/a> on request)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dynamitebaits.com\/carp\/how-to-boost-your-boilies-with-terry-hearn\/attachment\/dynamite_baits_complex-t_freezer_boilies\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-22895\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22895\" src=\"https:\/\/dynamitebaits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Dynamite_Baits_Complex-T_Freezer_Boilies.jpg\" alt=\"Dynamite_Baits_Complex-T_Freezer_Boilies\" width=\"680\" height=\"680\"><\/noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22895 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%22%20viewBox%3D%220%200%20680%20680%22%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" alt=\"Dynamite_Baits_Complex-T_Freezer_Boilies\" width=\"680\" height=\"680\" data-src=\"https:\/\/dynamitebaits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Dynamite_Baits_Complex-T_Freezer_Boilies.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">Step 2<\/h4>\n<p class=\"Body\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Take a handfull or two of frozen freebies and drop them into an air dry bag. The Saxa stuff from Tesco is just fine. I used a mix of both coarse and fine grain. Seal the bag and then give them a shake every so often. The salt will pull out any remaining moisture towards the surface of the baits, leaving the centres hard. As well as making them ever so attractive, they&#8217;re now shelf life so there&#8217;s no need to re-freeze.
