My Career in angling started at an early age growing up on canals and local ponds, and it was not until I was in my late teens when I focused more on carp and other big specimen fish.
I had Jobs in bait manufacturing, and then my own weekly column in Carp-talk for over 15 years. From then I managed Cuttle Mill Fishery while juggling coaching kids in angling for a charity organisation. When the fishery got sold I worked in a tackle shop for a stop gap, and then the phone call asking if I would be interested in managing Baden Hall. A long journey but a happy one!

Most Memorable Trip: Catching Kempies linear twice in a space of a few weeks, which was unheard of. I do have a few more though!
Highlight of angling Career: Again I have a few along the way but I would say the job I have now at Baden Hall is the highlight of my career.
Fish you would most like to catch: There is one in the Quarry I want at Baden and this winter I know it will be over 50lb as well. Apart from that one I am just happy catching carp, but I do prefer it to be more challenging and I do like the lure of big pretty fish.
Aim in Angling: My aim is to keep doing what I’m doing, which is helping fellow anglers and teaching them some old skool ways to catch them!
Top carp fishing tip: Watch the water as much as possible, and learn your watercraft. It’s in every humans DNA to hunt, and for me its hunting carp on all methods.
