Geldart Wins 2012 Dynamite Festival
Posted Match News at Apr 23, 2012

Top match angler Andy Geldart has been crowned the 2012 Dynamite Baits Festival Champion after fighting off the rest of the 180-stong field over five days of fierce competition at White Acres Fishery in Cornwall.
Andy kicked off the week on fine form with a section win on Porth Reservoir, taking 10lb 4oz of skimmers and roach on the waggler from peg 17. He then followed this up with two more section wins with 99lb 5oz of carp from Jenny’s Lake peg 15 on day four and 86lb 4oz from Twin Oaks peg 21 on the final day to finish with a 35 point score.
This put him level with the eventual runner-up Tom Nelson, third-placed Tom Wallis and fourth-placed Steve Cooke with the all-important dropped result proving crucial in determining the overall placings.
Andy went home with a cheque for £3,000 and £500 worth of Dynamite Baits goodies, plus all of his winnings picked up throughout the week.
Dynamite Baits would like to thank White Acres Fishery and all of its staff for running a faultless event.
